Donna Bassin, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, professor, writer, filmmaker and award-winning artist. Her artistic efforts represent a progression from writing about loss and trauma to exploring grief, despair, mourning and rage through photography and video. Donna's photography and fine art video have been shown at the Photo District Gallery (New York, NY), New Century Artist Gallery (New York, NY) and The Arts Guild of Rahway (Rahway, NJ). Her solo exhibition, "The Afterlife of Dolls," was featured at the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, NJ. She was a featured artist on Discover Jersey Arts and was awarded the Golden Bell Leadership Award by The Mental Health Association in New Jersey, for her contributions to mental health through the arts. Amy Bassin, is an artist, who has worked in painting, video, and interactive design. Her credits include: associate editor: for SWIMMERS, an indy feature script developed at Sundance Lab, editor of DOLLUMENTARY, a fine art video screened at Montclair Art Museum. Exhibitions include: ARS ELECTRONICA, The Lobby Gallery NYC, School of Visual Arts Gallery, iPlugin, Fine Arts Museum of Long Island. Grants: Artist Space Artist Grant, TV. Experimental TV Center Grant in collaboration with Donna Bassin, Finalist for Roy Dean NY Film Grant in collaboration with Donna Bassin. Interaction designer: Razorfish, Grey Advertising, News Corp. She received a BFA from School of Visual Arts.
