DANIELA KOSTOVA is Bulgarian artist living in the USA working with video, documentary, performance and installa- tion art, often interactive or site-specific. She graduated both from the Electronic Arts Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY in 2005 and the National Academy of Art, Sofia in 1998. Her solo exhibitions are "Frame", Placen- tia Arte, Piacenza 2001 and "Play Back", ATA Center, Sofia 2001. Her recent documentary "Body Without Organs". Bulgarian Bar was shown at CEC, Artslink, NY 2006 and as part of 1.60insurgentspace project, Tirana, Albania 2006. In 2002 Daniela first visited USA as an Arts Link residency fellow at the CIA, Cleveland, Ohio. In 2000 she took the First Prize in Onufri- International Competition on Visual Arts, Tirana. She participated in numerous exhibitions such as South East Passages, Biennale Donna, Ferrara, 2006, Wearable Futures, SCAN, Newport 2005, Don't Touch The White Woman, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Torino 2004, In the Gorges of the Balkans, Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Kassel 2003.
