The Video History Archive contains information, writings, and images by and about people and organizations involved with the production, exhibition, distribution and support of video art, community television, and other forms of independent production. The information in the archive relates to:
- Video and media groups providing equipment access, training, exhibition, and other resources
- Video artists and other individuals in the field, and includes biographies and interviews
- Media events such as exhibitions, conferences, and festivals
- Electronic tools including colorizers, video synthesizers and digital systems
