Filmmaker; has produced more than 20 films, most of which are portraits of cities and landscapes around the world. Work shown in major museums and at festivals in the United States and Europe, including Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Biennial (1985, 1991, 1995, 2004). Continuing work, since 1986, on series of landscape portraits of Hudson River Valley; also developing projects in Bangladesh and Iceland.
