Nomads was founded by a group of artists, curators and arts administrators dedicated to exploring the cross-section of art and technology. They view the Web as a vital mechanism for the collective creation and dissemination of work by artists, for artists. Steve Bradley's art practice involves sound performance, time-based media and material culture. He explores the boundaries of urban and suburban culture by collecting debris from the consumed landscape. His work has been exhibited at the Washington Center for Photography, and Pulse Art. He has curated art@radio, a net.radio broadcast of sound art and experimental music. He has been artist in residence at Communication Front (Bulgaria). He has performed at international festivals and is presently professor of visual art at the University of Maryland.
